World Championship Baby Back Ribs on the Outlaw Pit

These World Championship Baby Back Ribs are smoked hot and fast on the Outlaw Patio Smoker, layered with bold Heath Riles seasonings, wrapped in a buttery apple juice bath, and finished with a glossy competition-style glaze.
Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back pork ribs
- Yellow mustard (binder)
- Heath Riles BBQ Garlic Jalapeno Rub
- Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Rub
- 1½ cups apple juice
- Heath Riles BBQ Butter Bath & Wrap
- Heath Riles BBQ Honey Chipotle Rub (optional)
- Heath Riles BBQ Competition BBQ Sauce
- Heath Riles BBQ Sweet BBQ Sauce
- Heath Riles BBQ Apple Habanero Glaze
Directions
- Remove membrane from bone side and trim excess fat. Pat dry and coat lightly with mustard.
- Apply Garlic Jalapeno Rub followed by Competition BBQ Rub on both sides.
- Place ribs on smoker at 275–300°F and cook for 1 hour.
- Lightly spritz ribs with water or apple juice and cook for another 30–45 minutes until bark is set.
- Place ribs on foil, sprinkle Honey Chipotle Rub (optional), add apple juice mixed with Butter Bath, and wrap tightly.
- Return wrapped ribs to the smoker for about 1 hour until tender.
- Let ribs rest in foil for 30–60 minutes.
- Mix Competition BBQ Sauce, Sweet BBQ Sauce, and Apple Habanero Glaze. Brush on ribs and return to the smoker for 10 minutes to set.
- Lightly dust with Competition BBQ Rub before serving.
